On September 8-9, 2000, the Workshop on Environmental Education at the School Level in the Field of Air Quality was held on the island of Thira, Greece (in the Santorini island group). The objectives of the workshop included presenting the haze/aerosol protocols to GLOBE's European country coordinators. More than 20 countries were represented.
